❝𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭.❞ Misa pointed out as she popped a strawberry in her mouth, the sweetness trickling down her throat while the girl turned around to look up at him now that they're alone. An exhale and a shake of the head as she walks over to him, hands rubbing circles on his chest and a momentary brush of fingertips against his jawline for reassurance. Men were usually so predictable, really, though she hadn't expected his jealousy. Then again, Light didn't exactly seem like the type to have anything for himself.

Know what should happen you and whoever helps you with Mochi/Tenshi/Mitsu should make a playlist for them.

Well @starchaser-the-prophet has already got a playlist for Mochi! I’m sure they wouldn’t mind linking it?

Though I’m not really sure about the latter two?

Oh! And Prophet helped me come up with Mitsu and we talk about different situations and how either they or Mochi would handle it. We don’t talk a lot about Tenshi otherwise I’d have to delve into spoiler territory and they don’t read the manga.

They also got something about TBT in the works too and I can’t wait to gush over it once they’ve posted it.

I don’t think I can come up with a playlist for them since I don’t really listen to music when I write!

I draw inspiration from certain songs but I usually stick to instrumental or rain noises or even Yagami Yato ASMR when I write.

“How gracious of you,” K’ mumbled, voice dripping with sarcasm. He was trying to save face, even when his heart was galloping in his chest, the hiss of the gas stirring up memories of tight restraints, indescribable pain, and terror. He could’ve happily kicked himself; he would’ve been making his way out of here if he had just kept his mouth shut. Dumbass. Why did you say anything?

The taste of one of NESTS’ particular brands of sedative they used to concoct was all too familiar. It was potent stuff, already making keeping his eyes open a struggle. Yet, stubbornly, he clung onto consciousness as long as possible. Anything to prolong the inevitable needles and scalpels…

In the end, he was out before his head slumped against his chest. That stupid coat and its feathered shoulders slowly sliding out of view was the last thing he saw. He fucking hated the colour purple.

My Prime Resource:

The more files that opened, the more his stomach dropped. Jesus, this was really going to happen, wasn’t it? He was actually going to (unwillingly) help this batshit girl grow a new Krizalid from a vat. The twice-buried skeleton was going to kick and claw its way out of the closet for a third time, bringing with it the resurgence of old doubts and fears he had only really been starting to get over during the past couple of years. K’ was so numb with shock over the gravity of the situation he almost missed her departure.

He blinked, quickly twisting his head to call after her incredulously, “You’re seriously just gonna leave me all alone with your equipment?”

What was she, stupid? Overconfident? Both of the above? His emotions and priorities were all over the place because of her threats against his friends and the sights and smell of the lab warring with his need to fight to the very end… Which left him straddling a hair-thin, wavering line of complacency and defiance; still struggling to decide which of the two to settle on. But… he could still burn everything in sight to free himself if he wanted. That option was still available. His earlier attempt with the wires – which had revealed this area and led to this latest predicament – was proof of that. He was still bound, but he wasn’t quite as helpless as she thought. … He probably shouldn’t have said anything, honestly. Just seized the chance to free himself and escape while she was gone, but really. The sheer stupidity and/or audacity of her decision really threw him for a loop, and the words had tumbled mindlessly from his mouth.

Isla stopped in place, turning her head slightly. Yeah he was right…leaving him alone would be crazy. She stretched and began to walk towards a corner of the room, pulling out a breathing mask attached to a tank. 

“Well, if that’s the situation, I may as well give you a break while you wait.” She calmly leaned down and attached the mask to his face. “I was gonna do this while you were awake…meh.” She twisted the small valve of the tank, allowing the gas to seep through. 

“Guess I’ll give you the rest point and you’ll most likely wake up at your most recent check point.” She stretched again. “And I’ll be happy, you’ll be happy, everyone will be happy. So just…sleep it off.”
